Many of the factors that influence an individual team member's effectiveness in your club have been firmly established by the time the person starts as an employee of a club. Their basic genetic endowment, early family, school and other experiences, influential teachers and sporting coaches have long since had their influence.

 

However, it is important to develop and enhance these established basics of performance and turn your good team members into great and high-functioning successes in your club.

During the webinar, we will cover the following elements of Team member Development:​

• Developing People - Research has identified five broad categories of experiences found to be relevant to the way successful individuals develop their skills.

• Intellectual Capital and Training - A club's competitive advantage depends on its intellectual capital, which depends on employing people with the ability to learn, share and use what they’ve learned

• Performance Development Plans - A Performance Development Plan (PDP) is an extension of the work plan and identifies the specific, individual goals a team member is required to achieve to meet their KPIs.
