Next Webinar - 26th November - Your Management Approach and Style
As a club manager, your approach and style is important. It contributes to establishing appropriate behaviours, setting a good example and gaining and maintaining the trust and confidence of your team members and the club's stakeholders. A demonstrated and consistently positive attitude toward work, and employees in the club, will be emulated by others in your workplace. And, by demonstrating strong managerial and leadership skills, you will inspire and encourage those around you.
To be a positive role model, leaders need an understanding of the different leadership styles that can be used to inspire workers to be effective team members and actively work towards improving the club and achieving personal and organisational goals.

During the webinar, we will look at the different aspects of management and leadership and how looking at things holistically, whilst recognising context, can make a big difference. We will cover:

-
The Managers Mindest - The key skills that differentiate good managers from bad and assist managers in effectively managing their own, as well as their team member’s, priorities and professional development needs.
-
Leadership Styles- A look at the different styles and when each one is appropriate, given context and environment.
-
Cognitive Preferences - Knowing how you work best, with information from others, helps you place yourself in positive situations and create environments where you feel most comfortable and can lead and manage most effectively.
